Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift performed "Blank Space" from her hit album 1989 for the first time live, and she killed it! The variety of facial expressions she displayed throughout the performance made it authentically Taylor’s.

5SOS

Nominated for New Artist of the Year Award, 5 Seconds of Summer performed the hit "What I Like About You," which got girls in the audience dancing and jumping for the boy band. The cover of the classic song was well received among fans.

Sam Smith & A$AP Rocky

Glee’s Diana Argon who starred in the music video presented Sam Smith’s performance of "I’m Not The Only One." He was joined by A$AP Rocky in the performance, and it was amazing - a true musical masterpiece.

Iggy Azalea

Performing the biggest hits of the year, Iggy Azalea didn't fail to get the crowd going with "Fancy" with Charli XCX. Also, she sang a fan favorite "Beg For It." T.I. introduced his "sister" to the audience awaiting Azalea’s crowd-pleasing hits.

Lorde

Live for the very first time on American television, Lorde performed her single which will be featured in Mockingjay Part 1, "Yellow Flicker Beat." Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks presented Lorde’s signature hair-swinging performance. Her act was also very Hunger Games-esque with the smearing of her lipstick across her face at the end.

Pitbull & Ne-Yo

The song that you can’t not dance to: "Fireball" was performed by the night’s host Pitbull. Ne-Yo joined the stage to sing "Time Of Our Lives" with the host.

Selena Gomez

Gomez performed a very personal song for the first time: "The Heart Wants What It Wants." The song strongly seen as about her ex Justin Bieber, was sung beautifully by Gomez and comes off her new album, "For You" (aka For Justin).

Fergie

Adorably introduced by hubby Josh Duhamel, the former Black Eyed Pea performed a colorful rendition of "L.A. Love." On a stage set with palm trees and Cali girls, Fergie rocked the stage in a leotard, which showcased her unbelievable legs.
