Jay Z and Beyoncé are the frontrunners for the 2014 BET Awards, with four nominations each.

Come Sunday,  hip hop's power couple might need to make more room in their trophy case. While Mrs. Carter is nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Mr. Carter is vying for Best Male Hip Hop Artist, and together they are nominated for Video of the Year and Best Collaboration.

The infectious "Happy" singer Pharrell Williams, who won big at this year’s Grammys, is up for three awards, as are Drake, Chris Brown, and August Alsina.

The show, which celebrates the achievements of African Americans and other minorities in entertainment, will air live from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, June 29 at 8pm EST.
