2014-tony-awards-winners-listThe results of the 68th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8, did not disappoint.

It was a night of firsts! Familiar and new faces graced the red carpet for the 68th Annual Tony Awards, with television superstar and Broadway newcomer Bryan Cranston taking home a Tony for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his performance as Lyndon B. Johnson in All The Way. Last year’s host, Neil Patrick Harris, won his first Tony award in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. Audra McDonald received her sixth Tony for her portray of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill. Her win for best actress in a play makes her the first actress to win Tony's in all four acting categories as well as the most awarded actress in Tony history! And while A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder did not sweep, the night's frontrunner did win four of the ten awards it was nominated for.
