Bad Blood Music Video (And Everything Else Taylor Swift Did)

In her usual fashion, Taylor Swift introduced the night with a bang and ended it with winning the most acknowledgeable award of the night, Top Artist. But first, it was the long awaited premiere of the “Bad Blood” music video that warmed up the Billboard crowd. Swift’s A-list friends Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Zendaya, Lena Dunham, Ellen Pompeo, Cindy Crawford, Hailee Steinfeld, Mariska Hargitay, Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevigne (yes, all of them) joined in on the hardcore, woman-power video.

For the remainder of the night, Taylor sat danced next to her crew. Also on her arm? Rumored boyfriend Calvin Harris who embraced his multiple award winning date with a kiss before her walks to the stage. It’s almost as if you think your love for Taylor has hit capacity and then she has a night like this. Go, Taylor!

One Direction Stays Classy

We thought that One Direction would throw some shade while accepting their award for Top Touring Artist. Instead though, they thanked their former band member Zayn Malik even after his sudden abandonment of the enormously famous band.

“[There’s] one more person [we have to thank],” said Liam Payne. “And that’s our brother Zayn. So thank you very much!” Luckily, the 1D fans were happy to see Zayn still being acknowledge even though his absence is definitely felt by the diehards.

Chrissy Teigen Is Married to John Legend

Chrissy, we love you and want you to host every award show all the time. Teigen was a fresh voice during this year’s Billboard Awards and her constant reminding us that she’s married to Oscar-winner John Legend didn’t exactly bother anyone. In fact, she introduced the night by saying “And I bang a musician!” which was is as blunt as you can possibly be.

She never missed an opportunity to throw in that she and John Legend are married. And Legend reminded us once again when he accepted the award for Best Radio Record for “All Of Me.” Legend thanked his “beautiful” wife and partner for the love and unwavering support.

Megan Trainor Promotes Positive Body Image

After taking the stage with John Legend, 21-year-old Megan Trainor tearfully thanked her fans for awarding her the Top Hot 100 Songs for “All About That Bass.”

“I want to thank my label and everyone for believing in this song,” she said. “I just want everyone to learn to love themselves and I’m glad this song is working.”

Kardashian Clan Booed On Stage

Were those boo’s for the Jenner sisters or Kanye West? It’s hard to tell but when Kylie and Kendall Jenner took the stage to introduce their brother-in-law Kanye West to perform the final song of the night, there was a steady flow of boo’s from the audience.

Perhaps people are still harboring some embarrassment on behalf of Kendall after last year’s flub in which she accidently introduced One Direction instead of 5 Seconds of Summer.

Here’s a reminder in case you forgot:

But then, the majority of West’s song “All Day” was bleeped out on ABC and fans were subtly heard booing after his performance. Luckily, the family is used to controversial reactions to anything they do.
