2015 Oscar Nominations Led By 'Birdman' And 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'

The official nominations for the 87th Academy Awards were announced Thursday morning during a short live broadcast - a first for the Academy. The technical categories, including documentary and animated films, were revealed by directors JJ Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron while the major awards were announced by Into the Woods actor Chris Pine and academy president Cheryl Boone Issacs.
