Layer yogurt, fruit and granola and your kids will be happy to eat this breakfast! Start with Greek yogurt, and then add a layer of granola and a layer of blueberries and raspberries. Do this combination again in a tall glass. You could even make these ahead of time and just put plastic wrap over the top of the glass or put the parfaits in mason jars, close and keep refrigerated!

9301 oatmeal

Oatmeal will keep your kids full and focused at school. Plus, hot cereal is perfect for the cold winter months. Make plain oatmeal and sprinkle some cinnamon on top and throw in a few slices of bananas and some nuts. You can make a large batch of this and serve to your whole family.

Fruit Smoothie

This is a great option for teens that are on the go! In a blender, throw in their favorites such as Greek yogurt, a splash of milk, ice, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Blend and pour into a travel mug with a straw so they can have their breakfast on the go. If you want to get creative, you can put some veggies in their smoothie. The fruit and yogurt will mask the taste. This is also a great after school snack!

Breakfast Burrito

Got leftovers from last night? Make it into a breakfast burrito! If you and your family had some meat and potatoes last night, you are already half way done with making a breakfast burrito. Chop up some veggies like green peppers, onions and spinach and scramble some egg whites. Egg whites are the healthiest part of the egg. Mix in the leftovers and heat up in a skillet. Serve in corn or flour tortillas and voila! A healthy breakfast kids love!
