Slow Cooker Pie

Pot pie is everyone's favorite comfort food, and we make it simple by cleverly using a slow cooker. 

*Serves 4*


  • 1 pack Johnsonville Smoked Turkey Sausage Links
  • 5 medium carrots
  • 1 package (fresh or frozen) peas
  • 2 cups chicken soup
  • 1 tube biscuits

Kitchen Staples

  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic
  • Milk
  • All-purpose flour
  • Butter


- Slice Johnsonville Smoked Turkey Sausage Links 

- Chop carrots


- Sauté sausage and carrots with garlic and olive oil

- In a slow cooker, add all of the ingredients

- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter, stir in 2 tablespoons flour and cook until the flour browns (1-2 minutes), whisk in the 2 cups of stock and 1 teaspoon crushed garlic

- Add to the slow cooker, stir to combine

- Put the lid on the slow cooker

- Cook on low heat for 3 hours

- Remove slow cooker insert

- Top pot pie with biscuits and finish in oven according to biscuit package directions

Slice and add any other vegetables like celery or onions to the sauté
