Farmer's Slow Cooker Stew

It’s time to embrace the season's great harvest flavors with a homemade farmer’s stew. This recipe makes it quick and easy to cook those fall veggies by using a slow cooker to create the perfect, warm, family meal.

*Serves 4*


  • 1 package Johnsonville Andouille Smoked Sausage
  • 5 medium carrots
  • 15 small multi-colored fingerling potatoes
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 2 cups pearl onions

Kitchen Staples

  • Basil
  • Garlic


- Slice Johnsonville Andouille Smoked Sausage

- Thick slice carrots

- Thick slice fingerling potatoes 




- Sauté sausage, onions, carrots with garlic and few pinches of salt

- Mix all of the ingredients in a slow cooker 

- Cover with stock

- Cook low heat for 4 hours



  • Celery
  • Mushrooms




Slice and add any other vegetables like celery, scallions, or any other root vegetables to the sauté

Add grape tomatoes to slow cooker
