After illegal directional riding on Fifth Avenue, Baldwin is taken into custody.
While this may not be Baldwin's first public problem with the police, this story might cause some laughter behind it. The "30 Rock" actor was pulled over after riding his bicycle in the wrong direction in New York City. When the police pulled him over for causing danger, Baldwin began shouting at the cops for even asking for his personal identification. The police had intentions of giving him a summons after seeing his identification, which is why Baldwin reacted.
"Police stated that he got belligerent and started arguing with them and using profanity," Deputy Chief Kim. Y Royster shared.
A law official heard Baldwin yelling, "Give me the summons already!"
Baldwin went straight to Twitter as soon as he got home.
"Officer Moreno, badge number 23388, arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Avenue. Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing," his first tweet read.
He also added, "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."
The tweets have since then been removed from Alec Baldwin's Twitter feed.
