George Clooney’s bride is back to work post-wedding.
After a whirlwind September wedding, it’s back to work for the Clooney family. George’s bride, Amal Alamuddin, was spotted at Heathrow airport Monday morning where she caught a flight to Greece.
The expert human rights attorney was glowing as she toted her luggage through the airport wearing a chic outfit business causal ensemble. The lawyer is said to be in Athens with her law partners to meet with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Alamuddin is assisting in Greece’s bid to win back the Parthenon Marbles. The collection of sculptures is currently being held at London’s British Museum.
In other post-wedding news, Amal has reportedly taken her husband’s name, as she is listed as "Amal Clooney" on her company’s website. It was in a civil ceremony hosted in Italy two days after their wedding celebration where Mr. and Mrs. George Clooney became official.
As far as George goes, he has re-entered the U.S. as a married man and was spotted promoting his upcoming film Tomorrowland at New York’s Comic-Con on Thursday. The 53-year-old newlywed joked, "It is not lost on me that I’m spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con."
Already looking forward to seeing these two honeymooners together again? Us, too.
