Have you considered plastic surgery? Dr. Stacie McClane explores a variety of options for making yourself look more youthful.
We're all beautiful women and try our best to be as confident as possible in our own skin. But, at the end of the day we can all admit there is something about our body that we hate. "My thighs are too big," "I have wrinkles," or "I hate my butt." Whatever it may be, it's a constant thorn in our side.
Plastic surgery is something we might have all considered, but don't take seriously. Dr. Stacie McClane of Chicago explains there is something for everyone when it comes to plastic surgery.
McClane says that there's no age which defines the time in your life you should get plastic surgery. Some candidates of plastic surgery are as young as their 20s depending on what they want to accomplish, but most are in their 40s and 50s. And, McClane says some are even in their 60s and some in their 80s. It really depends on what look you're trying to achieve.
Types of Plastic Surgery
- A quick spa-like treatment to plump the lips
- Ultrasonic or technological therapy for the face that requires little time and long-term results
- Injectables for plumping and relax facial tissues
- Minimally to more invasive surgical options
McClane says you'll only know if you're a true candidate of plastic surgery if it's something you continuously think about. Only you know if the time is right. She recommends talking to a cosmetic surgeon who can explain a wide variety of options for improving your look.
As a woman, you want to feel confident about your image. Some might think cosmetic surgery will make them look fake, but sometimes it's necessary if it will help your overall self-esteem and make you feel more youthful. Don't feel ashamed! Talk to a doctor if you feel this is a possibility for you.
