Before Andi Dorfman’s Bachelorette season even aired, contestant Eric Hill passed away in a tragic paragliding accident in Utah on April 23. Viewers will see him in the upcoming show and the season is to be dedicated to his unfortunate death. Hill was 32.

Eric Hill’s Time on The Bachelorette

At the time of his death, Hill was making a documentary called The Global Odyssey, where he was attempting to set the world record for visiting all of the U.N. recognized countries in the shortest amount of time. We won’t know until the show's air date on May 19 how it will honor his death.

When he passed away, Hill had already left the show and Chris Harrison told the producers, Andi and the remaining four contestants while they were filming Hometown Dates.
