I stand corrected.  Up until a month ago, you could not get me to use liquid foundation, even if you’d paid me a million dollars. Piling liquidy, runny foundation on my already oily skin was sacrilege and let’s not even talk about the breakouts!  When I came across mineral foundation, I thought I’d found the holy grail of complexion-perfecting products and truth be told, the brands I used, Bare Minerals and Smashbox, worked well.  But lately, my face started to look ashy and dull, and it was time to revamp my make-up routine.

When I was a teenager, I couldn’t wait to be a “grown-up,” because that’s when I would finally bid my last zit adieu. But unfortunately, this “teenage scourge” has followed me and many women I know well into adulthood. After a few months of blemish-free bliss, my skin erupts with a monster-size pimple that leaves a dark, ugly scar, (and yes, I know picking at it doesn’t help, but sometimes I just can’t help myself).

Walk into a mall these days and you’ll be greeted by a sea of orange.  It’s the color du jour for the spring season and I can’t get enough of this uber-bright hue, whether it’s in vogue or not. I am happy to sport a neon orange sundress, but putting it on my face made me pause.  But that all changed when I found the Laguna blush by Cargo.

I don’t know about you, but every once in a while, I forget my phone at home.  Maybe it's my body's unconscious way of telling me to unplug, but nevertheless, I go the whole day feeling like I'm missing a limb.  That pretty sums up my attitude toward three fabulous items from Fresh, the beauty company that only uses natural ingredients like healthy oils, milk and sugar.
