Ben Affleck shows true anguish in very few words.
If you're like me, you jump at the chance to see Ben Affleck movies. The first trailer for Ben Affleck's new movie, Gone Girl, was released. Despite his very few lines of dialogue, viewers get a true feeling of despair and anguish from the actor.
"I did not kill my wife. I am not a murderer," he says in the Gone Girl trailer.
The film is based on Gillian Flynn's thriller, and Affleck portrays a man haunted by his wife's sudden disappearance.
The movie trailer is dark and mysterious, keeping the viewer intrigued and wanting more than just a minute and a half. We anticipate that the film will be just as gloomy and mysterious, as Affleck's character, Nick Dunne, mitigates a media frenzy and battles police questioning as his 'happy marriage' story begins to fall apart.
You'll have to wait until October 3rd to see the film in theaters, but until then, for extra insight into the mind of Nick Dunne, you can call the tip line shown in the clip (855) 4-Amy-Tips. It's a recording of Ben talking about his wife, Amy (played by Rosamund Pike).
