The juicing trend has been getting pretty popular these days, but that’s not the only reason you should consider trying it.
Andrea Metcalf got to chat with Hayden Slater and Carly Brien, the co-founders of Pressed Juicery of Los Angeles. They talked about the benefits of juicing. So, why juicing?
First off, it’s a great way to get all of the nutrients your body needs without going through the digestive system, which can sometimes be a hassle for some folks, especially those with digestion problems. When you have a juice that’s jam packed with all of your fruit and veggie needs, it’s more effective than eating them.
To the skeptics out there who wonder how filling juicing can be, there’s an answer for you, too. It turns out, there’s actually cleansing options when it comes to juicing that are pretty filling. But, if you want to skip the cleansing process, just make juicing a part of your lifestyle more consistently. Slater says that will fill you up as well.
Juicing is not as complicated as it sounds. Brien says juicing is simply fruits and vegetables getting into your body in a more effective way. If you’re not sure where to start with juicing, Brien says the best ones to add to your diet are juices with leafy green vegetables. Happy juicing!
