  • If you have an upset tummy, these foods are easily digestible and help soothe your stomach.  

  • Ginger


    Ginger is a natural anti-nausea food.  Take a piece of ginger candy daily or up to 4 grams of ginger daily. 

  • Apples


    Apples contain pectin which adds bulk to your stool.  They are high in fiber but if you're eating them for an upset tummy, think warm applesauce instead. 

  • Rice


    Rice is a great bland food that is gentle on the digestive system.  Plus rice absorbs fluids to add bulk to your diet.

  • Bananas


    Bananas are easy to digest. It's no wonder they are food of choice for many long distance runners.  They also contain pectin which thickens puddings and your stool. 

  • Chamomile Tea

    Chamomile Tea

    Chamomile and even peppermint tea are great to soothe an upset stomach. Recent studies have shown chamomile to relieve an upset stomach and abdominal pain.

  • Papaya


    Papaya has enzymes that help break down proteins.  These enzymes chymopapain and papain soothe the stomach.
