An exhibit for Queen Bey is opening at Rock Hall in Cleveland, Ohio.
Even though there is absolutely no need to explain why Beyoncé needs her own exhibit opening at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we’ll elaborate anyway. Basically, Queen Bey can’t officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame until 2022 and we simply can’t go for seven years without acknowledging her game-changing artistry.
Next Tuesday, Cleveland's Rock Hall will be opening their Beyoncé exhibit, which will showcase outfits she’s worn on tour including ensembles from music videos like "Single Ladies." Remember that iconic metal glove? You get to see it up close and personal!
Rock Hall curator Meredith Rutledge-Borger understands like we do that Beyoncé has rightfully earned her honor in the legendary museum.
"We felt that [Beyoncé] really needed to take her rightful place alongside Aretha Franklin and the Supremes and Janis Joplin."
Previously in 2012, Lady Gaga was also featured at Rock Hall where her notorious meat dress from the MTV Video Music Awards was displayed for all to see.
It’s time to round up some girlfriends, turn up your Beyoncé playlist, and take a summer road trip to Cleveland. We can feel the Bey-hive magic from here!
