The cast must be doing something right after all their awards stacking up and now reportedly massive and lucrative deals for three more seasons. How much are we talking? The main trio - Kaley Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki - collectively have a $1 million salary per episode, which turns into $24 million per year!

The cast followed the footsteps of salary giants like the Friends cast when they recently negotiated contracted for the upcoming eighth season of the show.

TBBT show creator Chuck Lorre told E! News that he wasn't concerned about the cast seeking higher pay, even though the studio was in crunch time to finalize a deal before production began July 30.

"Everybody should be very successful and happy and rich," Lorre said. "They earned it. It's a great cast. Great cast. It's their time."

Last fall, Mayim Bialik (Amy) bumped her per-episode paycheck from around $20,000 to $30,000 to $60,000. Melissa Raunch (Bernadette) also received a $40,000 pay increase from $20,000 to $60,000.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who plays the ever-quirky blonde Penny on the show, reportedly had her $325,000 per-episode salary raised to $1 million per episode. This contract could boost Cuoco-Sweeting on the list of highest-paid TV actors. The new salary would last her and the rest of the cast through another three seasons with 72 remaining episodes.

Jim Parsons (Sheldon) and Johnny Galecki (Leonard) each earned an estimated $9 million last year and are also expected to make increases in their per-episode salary.

To compare this with other shows, the actor who has brought in the biggest per-episode pay is Two and a Half Men's Ashton Kutcher with $750,000 per episode. Friends stars Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry each made $1 million per episode.

With big pay days come big expectations for the upcoming season. In the season finale, Penny and Leonard got engaged and Sheldon, unable to deal with the change, decided to hit the road to "find himself". We're excited to see where Sheldon has ended up...and what big (and nerdy) wedding plans are happening for the cutest odd couple on TV!
