Britney Spears may have experienced a wealth of success but it seems like the famous mother can at times feel less than inspiring. The Crossroads star has taken to social media to admit that she sometimes feels like a "dull and invisible" mother.

The 33-year-old - who has two children Sean, 8, and Jayden James, 7, with ex-husband Kevin Federline - took to Twitter over the weekend to share praise with her 40 million followers over Jennifer Lopez's new movie The Boy Next Door.

"It's easy for us moms to feel dull and invisible at times but this [movie] put some pep in my step. Thank you, Jennifer, for being you," Britney wrote in a tweet about the film.

The "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer also gushed over Jennifer Lopez's performance, adding that Jennifer "is so beautifully strong and inspiring" in it. It seems that Britney's fans clearly felt the same way as the tweet has had almost 3,000 retweets to date, and over 5,000 of her fans favoriting the comment.

Jennifer clearly delighted with the complement retweeted Britney's comments and replied, "Thank U! You are just as inspiring. Us Moms have to stick together!!"

In the movie, Lopez plays a high-school teacher and new divorcee who has a one night stand with a young neighbor, who then develops a dangerous obsession with her.

While Britney may be a fan of the movie, many others disagree as The Boy Next Door has received a disappointing 12 percent fresh rating on popular movie review site Rotten Tomatoes.

While it's unclear if the recent Twitter exchange is likely to result in a new friendship, the showbiz moms do have plenty in common. Both Spears and Lopez juggle hectic careers, have experienced high-profile relationships, and have two children each.
