One big chapter of the Kardashian book has come to a close. Bruce and Kris Jenner’s divorce was finalized this week. The parents of Kendall and Kylie Jenner divorced after over twenty years of marriage.
It was announced in October 2013 that Kris and Bruce had amicably been living apart for months with Bruce in Malibu while Kris remained in their Calabasas mansion. The two filed nearly identical divorce papers in September and they are now both officially single.
Kris, 59, has been rumored to be dating 36-year-old music manager, Corey Gamble. Gamble spent Kris’s birthday weekend in Las Vegas with the acclaimed 'momager.' Bruce, for now, is reportedly single.
Due to the sixth month legal requirement in California, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars won’t be officially officially divorced until March 23, 2015.
When married in 1991, the two previously married parents had no signed a prenuptial agreement. However, the two have peacefully settled upon an agreement in which Kris will pay Bruce $2.5 as an Equalization payment.
All other property including vehicles, artwork, and businesses will be divided equally.
The two have continuously said that they remain “best friends” and “talk all the time.” In fact, Bruce can be expected to be back at the Calabasas home for Christmas. The family said, “We will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
As we enter the holidays it’s comforting to see these two celebrating family, even through a split.
