Over Labor Day weekend, country star Carrie Underwood had some expectant news to share!

Underwood, 31, and hockey player hubby Mike Fisher, 34, are having their first child together! The singer made her baby announcement via Instagram and other social media handles in a very cute way!

Underwood shared a photo of her sitting in a chair with her two dogs. One wore a blue shirt saying, "I’m going to be a big brother" and the other had a pink shirt saying, "I’m going to be a big sister."

NHL star Fisher also took to social media and jokingly tweeted, "We haven't picked names yet but it's looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher."

Insiders say the two couldn’t be more excited about finally starting a family. Underwood admitted in an interview she’d love to have two kids, and maybe more...

"Three is fine. Four? Somebody’s getting something done, because we ain’t having five!" Underwood said.

Fisher and Underwood met at one of her concerts in 2008 and they became engaged in 2009. The two married in the summer of 2010.

So... why did the couple wait four years to make babies? Underwood told Marie Claire magazine in May 2013 that she didn't "feel old enough to have kids. I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?"

Looks like she’s ready for it now! This will be the first child for her and Fisher.

We can’t wait to see her baby bump! Congrats to the new parents!
