Celebrity Stretch Mark Tricks
Everyone has to deal with certain infractions with their bodies, even the rich and famous. There have been some new revelations with celebrity stretch marks and how the stars get rid of those dark colored markings on the skin.
How Do Celebs Deal With Stretch Marks?
Stretch marks can occur on virtually anyone, male or female and on any body size also. Do not give into that stereotype that only the heavier folks can obtain the marks, as it can occur in the thinnest of people as well. Celebs such as Katie Holmes, Kim Kardashian, and Halle Berry have all made their struggles with marks rather public in an attempt to help other women feel better about themselves and realize they go through the same issues that celebs do.
What are Stretch Marks
Stretch marks generally happen when the skin is doing exactly that, stretching. They can develop when a woman is pregnant and the body is going through so many changes, and even after the baby is born and the mother gets her figure back to its original state, the stretch marks remain. The body does not need to expand that much to start getting stretch marks. In fact, a person can gain all of ten pounds and start seeing them on the skin.
Getting Rid of Stretch Marks
How do you get rid of stretch marks? Thankfully, there are a few methods. The first is taking better care of yourself. This means eating healthier food choices and getting enough exercise. You will also need to get more rest at night to begin seeing better results in your skin. Consuming foods that contain gelatin and drinking plenty of water will start helping the skin get its bounce and elasticity back. Another way to minimize stretch marks is through movement. There are some cases where the skin has stretched as a result of gaining weight. Lose the extra pounds, and in turn the skin will begin to tighten on its own. Doing yoga, pilates and other exercises such as swimming and running will definitely get the ball rolling and provide you with tighter skin.
If you have toned the problem areas and they still have stretch marks on them, try some over the counter products for stretch marks. There are endless choices, and most will contain a few key ingredients such as aloe vera, coconut, cocoa butter, gelatin, honey, and vitamins A and E. Some other methods are to take vitamin E capsules on your own, and some recommend using a straight vitamin E gel or taking the gel out of the capsules to cover the marks until they begin fading away. Others prefer tanning over them to get some of that dark coloring out of the skin, and the end result is white marking instead. You can always consult with a dermatologist if you feel your efforts aren't producing results.
