Who doesn't love that time of the month. Painful breasts, crazy, unpredictable mood swings and awful cramps, how fun! Plus, all those food and chocolate cravings to deal with. But what if there was a delicious treat that could actually ease those symptoms and satisfy your chocolate craving at the same time? Good news - there is now! They’re called PMS Bites, and they're designed to take the pinch off your period.

The creator of the Bites, Tania Green, wanted to help women who have PMS live a healthier lifestyle. She started selling PMS Bites, which are 60 calories each, and are a "combination of a chocolate classic truffle and brownie batter" according to the creator.

Green herself experiences PMS symptoms and wanted to take matters into her own hands and create something she knew would work. She spent three months in her kitchen before finally perfecting her recipe. Green doesn’t claim that her bites can “cure” PMS symptoms, but they provide a healthier alternative to ease period symptoms than a processed candy bar.

It's obvious how these yummy treats ease PMS chocolate cravings, but their ingredients help ease some of PMS' worst symptoms too. Although the main ingredients are gluten-free oats and cocoa powder, the bites also include herbs such as dandelion root which can ease bloating, chamomile which can reduce stress and Siberian ginseng which can decrease irritability.

The best part of these PMS Bites? All women can enjoy them since they are vegan, all natural, raw and gluten-free. They also come in a variety of flavors, named after some classic PMS symptoms. You've got to be able to laugh at yourself during this time of the month, right? Choose from Plain Crazy, Coco-Nutty or All Kinds of Nuts.

The treats will be sent to right to your doorstep once a month, and come in boxes of six. Green hopes to expand her business and start selling more products directed towards women affected by PMS.

So next time you got a little cramping and a craving for chocolate, pop a PMS Bite and see what happens!
