  • 1 bottle of pasta sauce
  • 2/3 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • your favorite pasta cooked

Cooking Instructions

  1. Take the chicken strips and season them lightly with the seasonings listed in the dry ingredients above as well as the Parmesan cheese.
  2. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees to warm and get the chicken strips tender yet, crispy.
  3. Now, it’s time to prepare the pasta sauce. Get a medium sized pot and pour the olive oil into it. Let it warm, then sauté the onion, green pepper and garlic for about 5 minutes. Add in the rest of your seasonings. Take the bottle of pasta sauce and add it all in the pot. Stirring occasionally, simmer on the lowest setting for 30 minutes or until the vegetables get soft and the seasonings mix in well.
  4. Your chicken should be golden and crisp now. Set aside.
  5. Boil the pasta until it’s al dente and drain. Once the pasta sauce is done, remove from heat.
  6. Plate the pasta, then take spoon your desired amount of pasta sauce onto the pasta. Lay the chicken strips on top. Spoon more pasta sauce onto the chicken then sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.

There it is, Parmesan chicken pasta at its best!
