It's time to start thinking of decorating eggs, chocolate bunnies, brunches, egg hunts, church services, and spring festivals, because Easter Sunday is coming soon! Instead of serving the usual sweets and treats this Easter, switch it up with this Deviled Eggs recipe!

Being that eggs play a significant roll in Easter, deviled eggs have become a popular appetizer to serve at this time of year. The eggs are a traditional symbol of spring fertility and rebirth.

Deviled Eggs


  • 6 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. dry yellow mustard
  • paprika


  1. Halve the 6 eggs lengthwise. Press yolks through a food sieve or mash with a fork. Reserve whites.
  2. Blend yolks, lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and mustard.
  3. Spoon the filling into egg white halves. Sprinkle with paprika. Chill until ready to serve.
  4. Makes 12 Halves
