The world, and Hollywood specifically, just got a little more beautiful.
Eva Mendes, 40, gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, September 12 in Los Angeles. The daddy, Ryan Gosling, is officially going to be surrounded by a small group of stunning women.
The pregnancy was confirmed via pictures (the couple actually never spoke of their baby-to-be) back in mid-July suggesting the actress was roughly seven months along. The couple has been rarely seen together, if at all, by paparazzi. So fans and press alike were in the dark about the due date, but we’re happy to announce that baby Mendes-Gosling is here!
A source revealed to E! News that the birth "was very emotional for Eva and Ryan. They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time." The family is reportedly at home relaxing.
"Eva is so happy she's a mom, their baby girl is perfect!" disclosed the source.
The Girl in Progress actress prompted pregnancy rumors last February when she refused to walk through the LAX security scanner. Mendes and the arguably sexiest man alive began dating in September 2011 after they finished filming the movie, The Place Beyond the Pines, in which the two actors play parents together.
We're waiting on a name and (fingers crossed) a picture. Congratulations to the happy couple and new family!
