Lisa's Advice

"One of my favorite fitness apps is the Yoga and Travel app by Forrest Yoga Master Instructor Allison English. Most people can manage a cardio or strength workout on their own, but not yoga. Allison takes you through several yoga poses and is very specific on what each movement should feel like. It's a great program for when you're traveling over the holidays or on business."

Stephanie's Advice

"There are over 170+ apps. Find an app that is easy for you to use and navigate and one that isn't too overwhelming."

Ziba's Advice

Her favorite app for fitness is the Tabata Timer app because you can get short-bouts of cardio in with major health benefits!

Marisol's Advice

Her favorite app for fitness is the Nike Total Conditioning.

"Everyday I set intentions. Ask yourself the minute you wake up how you want the day to go. Set yourself up for a great day. A great tip from there is to think of a phrase or mantra, write it on a Post-It note and stick it to your front door. Every time you leave you'll be reminded of that positive vibe!

Stephanie's Advice

"The bigger the WHY, the easier the HOW. When you are crystal clear on your intent to change your life, your changes will be more profound and long-lasting. Do you want to lose 10 pounds or do you want to feel confident about your body and excited to wear clothes? Get clear."

Paul's Advice

"Log your workouts! By logging your workouts, you can see where you’ve been so you can push yourself to where you want to go. Knowing how many reps/sets or time you’ve performed a certain exercise previously should naturally be a motivator to progress your training and ultimately your results. [Also] proper nutrition! An average person exercises one hour a day. What that person does the other 23 hours of the day will determine if he or she sees results from their exercise routine."

Lisa's Advice

"The best way to get the most out of your workouts is to walk into the gym with a plan, so you don't get distracted. Also, put in your ear buds and leave your phone in the locker. Carve out that time only for working out and stay focused. This will eliminate any misuse of time and energy."

Stephanie's Advice

"Speed them up. A 15-minute workout can be more effective than a 45 minute workout if you are really pushing yourself and moving from one exercise to another."

Ziba's Advice

"Music is extremely powerful. You can get a lot more out of you with the right playlist."

Marisol's Advice

"Focus. Know what you are after. Ask questions after class. Work every muscle during class. Work smart."
