If you're looking for something to cool you down this summer, don't watch the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer.
The trailer showcases the hot and steamy scenes fans have read of and been waiting to see come to life on screen. The peek at the racy romantic drama lasted a little over 2 minutes, played with a slowed down version of Beyoncé's hit tune Crazy in Love. Following the premiere of the trailer, #FiftyShadesofGrey became a trending hashtag within minutes.
The film adaptation of the best-selling erotic novel written by E.L. James stars Jamie Dornan as tormented billionaire Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as literature student Anastasia Steele.
Also featured in the movie are stars Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes, Max Martini, Rita Ora, Eloise Mumford, Victor Rasuk, Dylan Neal and Callum Keith Rennie.
Dornan and Johnson both appear on Today to talk about the upcoming film. Johnson said making the movie wasn't nearly as sexy as the scenes appear.
"It's not, like, a romantic situation," the 24-year-old actress said. "It's more, like, technical and choreographed and less... it's more of a task."
"Wow!" said Dornan, pretending to be offended.
Yet in the end, he said trust was most important when it came to filming.
"That's a big part of it ... having trust," he said. "Because, you know, we got ourselves into situations that don't feel that sort of natural and they're not that easy and you need to have the trust there."
The film, originally scheduled to premiere next month, will hit theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
