Frozen fans around the world are rejoicing today because the first trailer for Frozen Fever, the new 7-minute Frozen sequel, has been released.

While it's been 12 months since Frozen came into our consciousness and 'Let It Go' became the anthem of kids everywhere, the sequel's plot will continue shortly after where the original left off. It's also set to feature everything we loved from the first movie including catchy songs, Olaf being silly and Elsa showing off her ice powers. The short will focus on Anna’s birthday party preparations which are thrown in to disarray when Elsa catches a cold, meaning that a potentially deadly winter could be on its way yet again.

Frozen Fever will see the return of the original voice cast, including Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. It is also set to feature brand new tracks from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Fans keen to seen Frozen Fever will need to get themselves down to movie theaters next month. The short sequel will be shown before Kenneth Branagh’s live action retelling of Cinderella, which opens in a few weeks' time on March 13.

Until then, you can catch the trailer for Frozen Fever below.
