When on the job hunt, it's all about networking.
One little girl found a way to help her unemployed father with that by getting his resume into the hands of First Lady Michelle Obama. 10-year-old Charlotte Bell was a guest at the White House’s annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day."
When Michelle Obama called on Bell during the question-and-answer session in the East Room, she gave the first lady a copy of her dad's resume instead of asking a question. "My dad's been out of a job for three years and I wanted to give you his resume," she said.
In what looked like surprise and humbleness, Mrs. Obama said "Oh my goodness" and gave Bell a hug.
She promised to help with the matter later. Ben Bell has been looking for a policy job for more than two years and recently has been working to be employed with the Obama administration. He worked on the Obama campaign in 2012.
