In case you missed it: we've got the highlights from the 2016 Golden Globes.

1. That Gaga-DiCaprio Shade

A video posted by InstaGlam News (@instaglamnews) on

As Lady Gaga approached the stage to accept her unexpected Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Television Series for American Horror Story: Hotel, the singer/actress might have been a little distracted when she bumped into the chairback of Leonardo DiCaprio, another Golden Globe winner of the night. Although he hadn't grace the stage yet, DiCaprio (star of the Best Picture winner for The Revenant) gave Gaga the stink eye. And it's all the Internet is talking about.

Here's our opinion: Is it awkward, uncomfortable and somewhat concerning for both parties? Sure. But let's really think about it and think whether both actions of the bumping and the side-eye were malicious... probably not. For those of us who haven't stepped inside the banquet hall of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the room is pretty tight quarters to fit all of Hollywood in there so we're ticketing this one as an innocent crowd blunder. Congrats to both of the winners of the evening.

2. America Ferrera and Eva Longoria Confirm Who They Aren't

Before presenting the award for Best Actor in a Television Drama to Jon Hamm, two leading actresses, Eva Longoria and America Ferrera, poked fun at the ongoing confusion about who they are in the eyes of the industry. The beautifully dressed talents bantered back and forth with Longoria introducing herself as "not Eva Mendes" and Ferrera introducing herself as "not Gina Rodriguez." And Longoria added, "Neither one of us are Rosario Dawson."

The joke, actually making fun of the Golden Globes Twitter account itself, was referring to the moment in December when Ferrera indeed was introduced as Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin. Luckily, these two unmistakable beauties put the confusion to rest.

3. Gosling vs. Pitt

Even Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt are confused about who is top dog. The stars of the nominated film, The Big Short, took the stage basically reading our minds at home.

"Hi, Ryan," Pitt, 52, began.

Gosling, 35, responded, "Yeah, whatever."

Pitt (jokingly) asked Gosling whether there was some unspoken beef he hadn't been made aware of when Gosling responded, "Nah man, we're good, whatever. Honestly, I was told I was presenting alone. It's fine. Obviously I've been recast in some kind of Joe Biden, Andy Richter, Robin type role. It's fineI'm here for the movie."

Pitt attempted to bandage the "broken" friendship by saying, "It's fine. I'm here to support you." But Gosling wasn't having it.

"Oh, that's nice. Take the high road, I look petty. Classic Brad, it's just classic. Classic Brad."

The bit continued on, but we lost focus when we found ourselves distracted in two pairs of Hollywood baby blue eyes.

4. Mel Gibson and Ricky Gervais Said What?

Just when we thought that Gervais was pushing the envelope all on his own merit, Mel Gibson entered the stage to seal the deal on a cringeworthy moment.

"I'm in the awkward position of having to introduce him again," began Gervais. "Listen, I'm sure it's embarrassing for both of us. I blame NBC for this terrible situation. Mel blames... we know who Mel blames. Listen, I feel a bit bad for it. Mel's forgotten all about it apparently, that's what drinking does. I want to say something nice about Mel before he comes out. So, I'd rather have a drink with him in his hotel room tonight than with Bill Cosby."

After Gibson assured that he could put Gervais to sleep another away, Gervais returned to the stage to ask a question that no one at home heard because, you know, the FCC. In other words, the whole thing was bleeped out leaving us at home wondering, "What just happened?"

Well, apparently Gervais asked Gibson, "What the f--- does 'sugar t-ts even mean?"

And that was the end of it.

5. Amy Schumer and J. Law's BFF Moment

Jennifer Lawrence, a winner of the night for her lead performance in a comedy movie, Joy,  took the stage earlier in the night alongside her BFF Amy Schumer, also nominated for her movie, Trainwreck.

As Gervais noted, "It's like they've never had a friend before."

After that introduction, the two blonde beauties took the stage to continue their adored BFF banter. Check out the hilarious duo below.
