With Google Flights, it’s never been easier to plan your spring break and summer vacations. Google has introduced a new search tool that makes booking flights even easier! At this rate, you won’t even need a travel agent to help you find the best deals. Check out these six new tricks to use when booking your trip with Google Flights.
Not Sure Where To Go?
Many people don’t know where they want to go, but with Google Flight you can just search flight prices for a general region. Simply Google "flights to Europe" and see what flights come up. From there, you can compare prices to different countries and decide where to go.
I’m Feeling Lucky
This feature does the same thing for searches as is does for flights. Choose your departure location then click "I'm Feeling Lucky." Google will then choose a location based on what you’ve searched for in the past and what's popular.
With the yearly trends, you can check out how the flight prices fluctuate through the year for that certain place you’ve always wanted to visit. That way you can find the cheapest time of year to travel.
Google Will Tell You The Best Flight Plan
Google will basically tell you which flight plan will get you the most bang for your buck. The "Best Flights" box looks at the combinations of price and speed, so you won't have to figure it out by yourself.
Google Will Monitor Prices
Once you find a flight you want, Google will track the pricing and if anything changes, Google will email you immediately.
Make Some Swaps to Save
If you think you’re set on a flight, think again! There is now a "Tip" bar that gives you different tips and swaps to get you the best deal. For example, if you are willing to fly earlier or from a different airport, then you could save money.
