The 57th Annual Grammy Awards rocked the Staples Center last night in Los Angeles. Stars poured into the show where artists like Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, and Beck were some of the most highly honored.

Sam Smith took home four Grammys including “Best New Artist” and Pharrell won three before the show even started.

It’s perhaps what you didn’t see during the show (if you blinked), which is stirring the most talked about moments of the night.

Pharrell Throws Shade

Any music award show watcher can understand that a seat behind Taylor Swift isn’t always the best seat in the house. Swift is known for dancing and shaking it during any award show with a little bit of music and Pharrell was not having it.

To be fair, Pharrell is already significantly shorter than the leggy Swift and to have her gyrating throughout the three-and-a-half-hour show could get annoying.

Kristen Wiig... Is That You?

If you thought you were watching an SNL skit during Sia’s performance of "Chandelier," you were kind of right. After an odd introduction by Shia LaBeouf, the Chandelier performance started with Dance Moms' Maddie Ziegler doing her usual amazing thing. Then in a move that shocked social media, SNL alumnae Kristen Wiig joined. Fans were going back and forth trying to figure out if it was actually Wiig dancing or just another crazy Grammy performer.

The best part? At the 2:50 minute mark when Wiig is sticking her tongue out at Ziegler.

We still don’t know what Sia’s face looks like, either.

Katy Perry is 2 for 2

Exactly a week after an incredible Super Bowl performance in Phoenix, Katy Perry took the stage for the second time and delivered another memorable performance.

Before taking the stage to sing "By The Grace of God," a survivor of domestic violence gave a chilling introduction and recalled personal experiences in order to resonate with women across America. President Barack Obama also spoke via a recorded video where he elaborated on the fact that artists have the power to change the minds and attitudes in society and make a change.

Twitter was blowing up with support for the dedicated performance.

Ladies in Pink

Rihanna was hanging out with Hollywood’s elite backstage while waiting to perform "Four Five Seconds" with Kanye West and Paul McCartney. The elite included none other than Miss Blue Ivy Carter, who was nearly matching Rihanna’s voluptuous pink Giambattista Valli gown, and looked pretty star struck as well! What a duo!

Blue’s mom Queen Bey took home three Grammys including Best R&B Performance for "Drunk In Love" featuring Jay Z.

Kanye’s Beef

So, remember six years ago when West hijacked Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video? Well, the two have squashed their beef and posed for a reconciliation picture last night!

West was quick to criticize this year’s winners again, though. As Beck stepped up to the stage to accept his award for Best Album of the Year, Kanye jumped up to the stage but quickly stepped down, seemingly pranking the winner.

Beyoncé who was also nominated in the category, was sitting in the front row with husband Jay Z. The couple saw Kanye approaching the stage and Beyoncé mouthed "No, Kanye no!" Jay’s nervous face is pretty funny as well before realizing West was only kidding.

Was he kidding though? During E!’s After Party, which was hosted on the network by personalities including Khloe Kardashian, West made an appearance with wife Kim Kardashian before catching a plane to New York. And, in fact, West admitted he wasn’t kidding.

"Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé." West’s rant continued for a few minutes, which included him taking the "E" logo off of his microphone and insisting the hosts do the same.
