harry-potter-reunion-on-pottermoreFans of the famous Wizarding World of Harry Potter get the reunion they have been wishing for.

J.K Rowling always seems to keep her fans guessing, especially after a recent reveal of a new 1,500 word short-story on the popular site Pottermore. Ever since the end of the acclaimed Harry Potter series, fans have been craving for an update on the Hogwarts clan, and Rowling revealed one to her dedicated following through a gossip column by the famous Daily Prophet columnist Rita Skeeter.

Pottermore is a site that was created when the series concluded in order for fans to continue living out their Harry Potter dreams. Users are assigned a username and are able to walk through their own journey as a student in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Along with games and prizes, the site's section Pottermore Insider releases updates on the fictional Wizarding World through a series of blog posts, interactive surveys and columns. Nevertheless, no one expected for J.K Rowling herself to hop on the site and give her fans a true update on Dumbledore's Army!

Dumbledore's Army consists of the characters the world is most familiar with: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermonie Granger, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. Along with brief updates on the character's jobs and their states of appearance, Rowling even released a bit on the children of these characters. Harry and his sons James and Albus had as sweet reunion with Bulgarian seeker Viktor Krum, also a famous character from the fourth book Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire.

Rowling even wrote about Teddy Lupin, the son of Remus Lupin, who is now Harry's godson. The reveal of his small love affair with Victorie Weasley, daughter of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour, was an exciting piece to end such a well-written gossip column.

Updates continue to be posted on the Pottermore site, including Quidditch World Cup updates from Ginny Weasley herself. Although the read is not available to the general public, signing up for Pottermore is quite easy. But be careful, you may just get sucked into this online wizarding world!
