Hayden Panettiere let her baby’s gender secret slip at last night’s Emmy awards.
The Emmy Awards are full of happy announcements throughout the evening. But before the show even began, Hayden Panettiere revealed on the red carpet that her baby-to-be is a little girl!
When interviewed by Giuliana Rancic on the E! platform, Panettiere let the secret slip out, "I can’t wait for her to come out, this little one."
Shocked, Rancic asked, "It’s a girl?" Panettiere confirmed, "I think I just said that, didn’t I? Yes, it’s a little girl."
The Nashville actress is in the third trimester of her pregnancy with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko and when asked about name possibilities, Panettiere hinted at a somewhat unique name considering the combination the couple is going for.
"We have to maker sure that is American and Ukrainian all at the same time," she said. "That’s a little rough…we’re still working on it."
Last Thursday marked the actress’ 25th birthday and there was much to celebrate Sunday night as she glowed in a Loren Sarbu metallic dress featuring her bump and some deep cleavage. And it sounds like her future daughter will take after her mom’s great style.
Panettiere went on to discuss the current nesting stage to Rancic.
"I like to shop girl!" she laughed. "I want to go shopping for my girl. I want to paint the room appropriately."
Other baby news of the night was announced via Amanda Peet’s baby bump. Peet posed on the red carpet alongside her husband revealing the happy news. This will be the third child for her and David Benioff who have daughters Frances "Frankie" and Molly June.
A big night indeed for television and babies!
