Pool Safety Fence

Fun is so much Funner, Without the Danger!

One of the dangers of summertime that everyone would like to eradicate is the number of drownings and near drownings that occur every single year. Many of these drownings might have been avoidable with some pool safety devices. Every year more than 250 children under the age of five will drown. Another 2700 will be treated at hospitals or by doctors for near drowning. Over nine hundred children between the ages of one to fourteen will drown every year. These are not statistics that we should be impressed with. In fact, with the use of some easy to install child safety pool fences and child safety pool gates (to name just a few of the options open to us), many of these can be avoided. So how do you protect your kids if you want or love having a pool? The two don't have to be mutually exclusive, pool safety is easily attainable.

Hydroponic Gardening

Do It Yourself Gardening, When Water and Oxygen Provide Nutrients

The word hydroponics comes from two Greek words that mean water-hydro and labor-ponos. Hydroponic gardening is a way of gardening and growing plants by letting water do the work of providing nutrients instead of planting in soil, which requires a plant's roots to search for the nutrition it needs. Food and nutrients are dissolved in water and fed directly to the plant's root system. Hydroponic Gardening allows the plant to use more energy growing the part above the surface and less energy growing roots and searching for nutrients. This results in healthier fruits and vegetables.
