So with that in mind, of the many women who make movies, what percentage are Academy Award and Oscar winners? Women do direct films, it's definitely true but where are these films? Unfortunately, only a meager 5 percent of Hollywood features are directed by female movie makers. So ladies it's time to show your support and get your bum out to the theatre the next time there is a blockbuster premiere directed by one of your sisters! You would think that given the choice of free designer outfits, free jewelry, make-up and hair styling offered by the world's most prominent designers and stylists that highly public figures like Madonna, Furgie and Catherine Zeta Jones would pick more fashion-wise styles to wear in public.  Dynamic and A Fighter, Still Charlie's Angel, Fawcett Spoke Out with Eloquence
Farrah Fawcett lit up the stage when she played a role in Charlie's Angels. As a leading actress Farrah was not prepared for her 3 year struggle with anal cancer. This struggle began in September of 2006 when she was first diagnosed. Immediately she had surgery to removes the tumor, followed by chemo, radiation. Doctors thought the cancer treatment was successful, but it wasn't. In 2007 Farrah Fawcett was heart broken when cancer was discovered during a routine exam. The actress went through another series of chemotherapy and radiation. She also traveled to Germany 6 times for treatment that is not yet approved in America. Farrah Fawcett's cancer treatment included chemoembolization and laser ablation. Fawcett was also given vitamins and herbs to assist with her immune system.
Update to this article: Farrah Fawcett gracefully passed on June 25th, 2009 with her family present after receiving last rites at a California hospital.
