I am Jamenda McCoy, a juggling wife and mom of two, recovering employment lawyer and founder of Bellē Up Maternity, a boutique serving sophisticated moms and moms-to-be on Chicago's South Side since 2009.
I count on Byron Lars dresses, Oscillation by Lancome mascara, Michael Kors accessories and shoes, shoes, shoes, indulge from time-to-time with a hot dog (don't judge) and slow down with a game of Bedazzled on my iPad or a little good old-fashioned DVR time (Scandal and Law & Order SVU are my faves).
I'm an all-around anomaly. I'm high-fashion (not to be confused with high-maintenance), but as a former Division I college athlete, I'm a tomboy at heart. I'm Type-A and an Artsy Flower Child. I'm country pop and hip hop. Part nerd, part slacker. At times I'm politically correct and, at many others, brutally honest.
