The Duchess of Cambridge will welcome her second child in April!
The royal baby countdown is on for a second time! In a statement released by the palace Monday morning, the second royal baby’s due date was revealed. Kate Middleton and Prince William "are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015."
Kate has been reported as experiencing acute morning sickness similar to her first pregnancy, although the statement also read that the Duchess "continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."
Due to her morning sickness, The Duchess of Cambridge, 32, has had to skip out on several royal appearances. However, this Tuesday she is expected to appear at two events. Kate and Prince William will greet the President of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs. Tony Tan Keng Yam on behalf of the Queen.
Also on Tuesday, Kate is expected to attend the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015 Awards Ceremony at The Natural Museum of History.
Like Katie's pregnancy with Prince George, the sex of the baby has still not been confirmed and probably won’t be until the anticipated birth. Once April rolls around, the second-time mom might be delivering a few weeks past her due date, as she did in July 2013 with George.
Congrats to the royal couple!
