Having your child take a kids book quiz can be fun and educational too. You can find many new kids books and top kids books for your children book quiz by going to the right places online. Learning about books can make your kid aware of the wonders of the written word. These quiz games can be played by the whole family, allowing them to share a memorable experience.

Test Your Kids Book Knowledge

A kids book quiz can give you an idea of what books your child reads. Many parents want their kids to read some of the same books that they read as a child. Reading books to your kids when they are young will make new kids books more appealing to them and may encourage them to read more. It's a proven fact that if you read to your kids it will make them more interested in reading themselves. These sessions with your family can be fun and exciting. Most importantly, they will build a positive relationship with books that will last throughout your child's life.

Finding the top kids books can be very simple to do using the internet or your local bookstore and library. Many moms and dads will often times buy eBooks or download them free so that their children can read a wide variety of books. Your local librarian is a great resource when it comes to finding the best kids books both classic and new. There are also a lot of top book lists on websites like amazon and parents.com. Another good way to find books kids will like is to look for award winning kids books. A simple internet search will lead to records of prominent children's book awards and lists of past recipients.

After your child has read a book, she can take a childrens book quiz that you design to test her reading comprehension. The best way to create a quiz is to read the book yourself and take notes along the way. Reading with your child is a great way to encourage her and to let her know that you care about the media that she consumes. You can also use this opportunity to talk to your child about issues that the book covers. Even simple fairytales offer chances to discuss choosing between right and wrong, helping other people and working hard to make good things happen.

Most people agree that if a kids book quiz is fun and entertaining, kids will have fun learning. This is why a lot of top kids books are used to help kids learn about issues that are relevant to real life. We all know that the greatest stories teach us something. That's why reading-centered games are so good for children. Book quizzes can be designed for all ages, even kids who can't read books on their own yet.

One of the things a lot of parents like about a kids book quiz is the fact that it can be fun for the whole family to learn and remember how certain stories go. Reading as a family allows older kids to feel empowered when they help younger brothers or sisters, and younger kids get a positive role model in their older siblings and parents. Try making a family story night once a month. Begin with a trip to the library and allow each person to choose a book. Then, come home and take turns reading out loud and quizzing each other about the stories. Not only will you enjoy some quality family time, but you'll foster a love of reading in your children too.

My name is Stephanie and I am a mother of a daughter, Cali. She is almost 3 years old and I love her to pieces even when she makes my hair fall out from stress! HAHA. I love to read and write, cook, especially desserts and those hefty meals needed to fill the belly of my fiance. Not to mention the designing of meals and snacks my picky toddler likes to eat!

I grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois, therefore, I love animals and I currently own a 90 pound white boxer who is cuddly and clumsy. I have a large oscar fish named SpitFyre (from a book). I took an extra year of required english study, including journalism and creative writing. I'm also a published poet, 3 times over, since the age of 12 years old (said to write at 12th grade level while in 5th grade). I love to write because I have a talent for it. I won the state spelling be when I was in 5th grade and I have not stopped being fascinated with grammar and the world of writing ever since.
