Kyle Richards has done it all in the television world (besides winning an Emmy like her Housewives co-star Eileen Davidson). But just in case Real Housewives of Beverly Hills isn’t real enough for you, Richards will have a chance to tell her side of the story in her newest project, a sitcom, to air on TV Land.
The unnamed project is established in the ‘70s and tells the story of Bonnie Nolan who is left with three daughters to raise after her loveless marriage falls apart. Bonnie Nolan would represent Kyle’s mother while the three daughters would mirror the lives of Kyle and her two older sisters Kim (also a Real Housewife), and Kathy Hilton.
Although some might not see the appeal, Kyle and Kim Richards were raised in a particularly unconventional (maybe conventional in Hollywood) household where their work and acting careers were put first and their education second. Kim, a recovering alcoholic who is currently in her fourth rehab stint, starred in various Disney films as a little girl, including Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain. Meanwhile, Kyle is known for her role in Little House on the Prairie and the 1978 horror film, Halloween.
Richards has a talented team behind her to bring her projects (and childhood) to life. John Riggi, a former 30 Rock writer, is in the beginning stages of creating a pilot script and other writers from ER and Shameless join the crew as well.
Thank you Kyle, for literally putting it all out there for us to watch!
