If your social feeds are filled with videos of people standing still, then you have seen the latest  viral trend: the Mannequin Challenge. As with most things fun and surprising, this flash-trend was create quite by chance. A group of Jacksonville, Florida, high school students were having a bit of fun one day and one of them posted it on her twitter feed @thvtmelanin.

Posing "as still as a mannequin" sounds simple enough, but through the filter of social media the challenge has grown and gotten more and more, well, challenging as each "contestant" ups the game. Most use the song from the original video Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.”

One of the most elaborate to date was pulled off by Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee on their popular YouTube Channel ThatcherJoe.

So far everyone from Beyoncé to former President Bill Clinton have gotten in on the act. Time Magazine has already collected the 17 Best Mannequin Challenge videos so far.

Then there is this classroom of little kids who tried their very best!

Awwww they almost got it #mannequinchallenge
