If you are a fan of the "celebrities, they're just like us" stories, then you are probably going to love Celeste Berger's mom version, which flips the script on glamorous celeb photos! The Australian comedian takes her best shot at recreating those "Insta-worthy" pics to the great pleasure and joy of all of us everyday people. We have collected some of her newest, funniest and just plain spectacular attempts to "get that look." Locate that share button now because you are definitely going to want your mommy group to see these!
It began simply enough with #celestechallengeaccepted back in January of 2015. The hashtag was supposed to be a fun experiment to see what it would look like for an average person to photograph herself doing rich people things.
Celeste Barber's hashtag experiment turned into a rapidly successful Instagram feed full of the mom's attempts to look like "socially famous" people do on their "personal" accounts.
The funny part is now celebs are following her to see what imaginative stunts she will pull in every new image. The "real" mom has attracted celeb parents Ashton Kutcher, Cindy Crawford and Kris Jenner, as followers. The last one is cute since the Khardasians feature prominently in Celeste Barber's recreations.
Case in point! Khloe's girl squad meet Celeste's mommy squad.
An observant fan notices a recurring adjustment in Celeste Barber's images. Can you see it?
Spot the Barber correction, yet? More times than not, Celeste replaces the healthy smoothie or coffee drink from the celeb pic with a glass of wine, bottle of wine or some other alcoholic drink.
In this case, the bottle of wine just comes out of nowhere. Celeste is pictures here with her two young, and apparently good sports, boys. She is, also, stepmom to two teenage girls.
Celest Barber does more than just take funny pictures. The Australian comedian is also a pretty funny writer. You can signup for her funny emails here.
