Don't get trapped on the sofa watching television all day! Despite the comfort and entertainment, it can be a trap to keep you in one place for unnecessary amounts of time. Snap to reality and get moving! Health experts share their tips on how you can motivate your mind and body to get going.
My own advice is to find a buddy or share on Facebook or elswhere when you think you can't head to the gym or go for a walk. If you can't even write on social media that you are too tired or don't want to go, then you absolutely need to get up and go do it!
"As humans we were not meant to be stationary. Being active increases your feel-good endorphins, helps you stay in shape and allows you to clear your head from the day's activities."
"If you're trying to get moving, chances are you're stuck in a comfort zone. Understand that it will be uncomfortable to get up and get moving, but once you make it a habit, it will become your new comfort zone."
"Just do it!"
