Olivia Wilde was looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day with her son but it didn’t go as planned...
Olivia Wilde, 30, couldn’t wait to celebrate her first Mother’s Day with her son Otis. She had vision of how the beautiful Sunday would go but, it didn’t really go according to plan. The actress opened up about her disastrous day with David Letterman on The Late Show.
She and fiancé Jason Sudeikis both got to choose what they wanted to do on their days. Sudeikis chose his Father’s Day activities and Wilde wanted to spend Mother’s Day having brunch and spending the day at Central Park. But, nothing went well...
She pictured Central Park being empty, quiet and relaxing. Well, it was packed! It was also Japan Day, which is a big deal in New York so there were more people there than usual. Wilde said there was only one bathroom in the area too!
Wilde pictured herself being on pedestal that day as this glorious mother on such a lovely day. Instead, everyone was angry, sweating and everyone had to pee.
“I finally just dropped to the ground on a patch of dirt, like in between two ugly roads,” she tells Letterman.
“And then I just ripped off the diaper of the kid to change him and he just pooped everywhere - like a torrent, a flood."
Even though it wasn’t this picturesque day for Wilde, she was so happy to spend it with her new son!
