Use paper when drying hands to remove more bacteria.
New studies from Australia reveal that washing hands is more effective and hygenic when drying with paper towels rather than the newly installed "green" hand dryers. Findings from more than 12 Australian studies compiled the data supporting this theory.
Paper Towels Vs. Hand Dryers
It turns out that people don't spend 30 seconds or more of time to completely dry their hands. This leaves them wet and more prone to spread and pick up bacteria. The study also found that drying with a paper towel removes more bacteria because of the "wiping up and down action."
