rihanna-fashion-show-pay-rateRihanna gets paid $100,000 to sit at a fashion show, which is more than most people make in a year.

Celebrities and money are ultimately inseparable. As much as each and every one of us would love to be a celebrity and let the money flow in for doing nothing, only one out of every million of us will be the fortunate one that it happens to.

Rihanna and Beyoncé were paid $100,000 to attend a fashion show by high-end designers. However, if you were to ask any of these designers about how much these celebrities get paid, they would up right deny it. Plus, why would they want people to know that they have to pay celebrities to carry their merchandise? It is more of an under-the-table deal where designers could say the celebrities are getting paid to do something more important. Designers need to cover themselves.

Celebrities earn money just by showing up to the party most times, all because they are usually asked to wear the fashion line for free. Who wouldn't want an all expense paid trip to the fashion show, with a painfully large paycheck ? Count us in!

It does make sense. People follow and watch every step of these celebrities, what they're doing, where they're going and why they chose that skirt. Their following will go out and buy the same clothing piece in a heartbeat. This brings in the cash to the designers and it's exactly how the designer cycle works.

But surprisingly, fashion shows are not the only useless things celebrities get paid to do.

What Celebrities Get Paid To Do

  • Lea Michele wore a Lacoste shirt to Coachella and got paid $20,000 for it.
  • Kim Kardashian went to a bar for publicity purposes and got paid $600,000.
  • Blake Lively attended a store opening (then left ten minutes later) for $50,000.
  • If Charlie Sheen is asked to tweet about something specific from an outside party, he is paid $9,500 per tweet.
