Congrats are in order, because Sean Hayes is engaged! The Emmy winner and Will and Grace alum, is engaged to his partner of eight years, composer and music producer Scott Icenogle.
Hayes sat down for an interview with the CBS morning show The Talk wearing a band on his left ring finger, causing speculation that he and his partner had tied the knot. The couple hasn't walked down the aisle quite yet, but Hayes rep confirmed that the couple is planning to.
“Sean Hayes and Scott Icenogle have been together for eight years. They are not yet married, but they have been engaged for quite some time,” said Hayes' rep.
Last week, Hayes wore his engagement ring and dished on Ellen about a last-minute trip he took to Istanbul with Icenogle, whom he calls, "my other half," and his friend Will Arnett.
"We know how the Middle East loves the gays, so fantastic, I'm there with bells on, literally," he said.
We aren’t sure how long they have been engaged, but Hayes was photographed wearing his ring at a Los Angeles charity event in September. Hayes is known for typically keeping his private life private, but came out as gay in 2010 during an interview with The Advocate.
“I spend time with a special someone in my life,” he told The Advocate. “That’s it. That’s all I need. I don’t need events. I don’t do a lot. I live my life like an 85-year-old man. I’m just quiet. It’s fantastic.”
Looks like he won’t be “Just Jack” for long! Congrats to the happy couple!
