The National Dairy Council has some great advice for making dietary choices that are both tasty and nutritious even if you're lactose intolerant!

Karen Kafer, a registered dietician, says everyday you should get 3 servings of dairy in your diet.

Dairy provides your body with calcium, potassium and protein. But, just because you’re lactose intolerant, doesn’t mean you can’t have dairy!

The Greek yogurt option is always a winner if you’re lactose intolerant because it has a lower lactose level. About 1 in 10 people have this intolerance and will avoid dairy altogether. But, they should continue to have dairy, unlike someone with an allergy to dairy, who just can’t have it all.

You can use Greek yogurt in any and all recipes from breakfast items to dessert items!
