seth-meyers-to-host-2014-emmys-headerThe funny man turned Late Night will host the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards!

Meyers will follow prior hosts Neil Patrick Harris, Jimmy Kimmel and Jane Lynch. "Seth's expertise and ease in front of a live audience during his time at SNL, as well as his comedic brilliance both as a writer and in front of the camera on SNL and Late Night, makes him the perfect choice to host the Emmys," said NBC exec Paul Telgedy in a statement.

Meyers stepped into his Late Night role after 13 years on Saturday Night Live, so we're sure to get some comedic antics from the upcoming host.

The awards show is set to air live on NBC Aug. 25 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
